I've been working with the Triplex theme. I was having a couple of problems, so I went back to the original zip file and noticed an error in the ORIGINAL theme files.

Line 2
Char 1
Error: Invalid character
Code: 0
URL: file//C:\Documents and Settings\Julie\Desktop\FlatCalXP_CE\themes\Triplex\iflateng.htm

Any clues?

Thanks

Julie

In searching through the forums, I also tried the original theme files using Firefox (1.0.6) and it seems to work fine.

The problem seems to be in the most recent version of IE6, with all service patches and updates applied.

Julie,

We can't seem to reproduce the issue here. Which version of FlatCalendarXP were you using?

I'd suggest you try the latest version and clean up the browser cache before the test. Let us know if the error still exists.

Build number 261, downloaded on December 11th. Cleared my cache and it didn't help.

(Don't you hate those non reproducible problems?)

I'll snag a copy of Netscape later today and see if it gets the error as well. In the mean time, I will simply continue on with my project...just want to get rid of the "Done, but with errors on the page" message before the client sees it! Smile

Thanks again...

Julie

Julie,

Working with our technician, we were able to reproduce the error in IE6 on WinXP SP2 - however, only if we try to access the page locally (using direct path instead of http://).

We are pretty sure that it's a side effect caused by the new script blocker in IE6 and only shows up when accessed locally. see FAQ:
http://www.calendarxp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=79

Once you put your code on a test web server and access via http protocol, the error will disappear.

Ahh, that makes sense!

Thanks for saving me a bunch of wasted time trying to debug it on my machine!
